I (James H. Soos) am a Quartermaster Corps Captain in the United States Army. I attained a B.S., from the State University of New York at Buffalo and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant from Canisius College in 1988. I served in Germany, deployed to Operation Provide Comfort in support of the Kurdish refugees in Northern Iraq and into Bosnia under NATO in support of the Dayton Peace Accord. My last assignment was with the10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Carson, Colorado. I am currently instructing Army ROTC at Clarkson University and pursuing a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology and Media Management from SUNY Potsdam. I am married with 2 children and reside in Potsdam. | |

Have Worked Full time at Nortel Networks for 4 years in Brockville (yes 40 hours a week 3:30-12:00) & The commute is 1 hour each way. Attended St-Lawrence College in Brockville full time in 1998-99. So if anyone complains about the workload, tell them my predicament. I also have been supply teaching for the last 2 months at Brockville Coligiate. My name is Doane K. Graves. Doane is pronounced Dwayne. I was born in Tucumcari, N.M. in 1970 and I spent most of my life in L.A.. When I was 15, I moved to northern N.Y. where I finished my high school years at Carthage Central. I decided to go back to school to study economics when I was 22. During my college years I have taken a few years off in between my studies to work. I am now 29 and will be graduating in August. I will have my B.A. in economics and will be moving down to Albany with my wife of ten years and my 7 year old daughter. I look forward to starting my teaching career in the immediate area where I have built my own log cabin in the country and have established ties to the community. I have earned a BS in Management from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC and an MBA in Human Resources and one in Marketing from Russell Sage in Albany, NY. After Potsdam I plan on transferring some of my MBA credits towards a principal certification program. I enjoy teaching but I also know I will accept the challenge of administration. Judith Warren
Originally born and raised in Texas, I joined the U.S. Navy in 1976. I was stationed in Guam when I met my late husband. I have been to Japan, Iceland and Puerto Rico. I have three sons. I came to Potsdam in 1988 when my husband was discharged. I obtained my Associates degree through SUNY Canton and my B.A. through SUNY Potsdam. I have worked as a secretary, a substitute teacher, and a library aide. My aim is to get my permanent teaching certificate and MLS so that I can work in a school library or a similar environment. Some of my interest include, but are not limited to, technology, reading, sewing/ needlework, stage performances/ concerts (except heavy metal), wimming but not sunbathing, theology and philosophy. |
