Overview: This course is designed to provide an introduction to the ICT Department. Topics include: introduction to group work,introduction to journal writing, daily living skills, and basic research skills.

Textbooks/References:

Equipment: Students will be expected to have an internet ready laptop computer.

Requirements: Students will keep a written daily journal, including pictures of the days events. Journals will be compiled and evaluated by Mr. Joshua Clark at the writing center. Weekly the journals will be compiled, along with the photos, into a PowerPoint presentation to Dr. Anthony Betrus. Students will be reevaluated at the end of August for continuation in the program.

Weekly Journal - The students will keep a daily journal that records the activities they participate in throughout the day. There is an additional expectation of a written reflection of each day's activities. Appointments with the College Writing Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be used to make structural, spelling and grammar corrections.
