Overall instructional effectiveness and clarity.
Quality of Lesson Plan
Evidence of prior planning as demonstrated by:
1) Effectiveness of Briefing including proper goal setting and preparation
2) Effectiveness of Action - problems worked out prior to class through a beta test or trial run.
3) Effectiveness of De-Briefing - Sensitivity, Understanding, Focus must all be shown in the debriefing, along with using the proper steps (without jumping around).
4) Extending Activity - to be completed by the learners individually, usually some form of evaluation related to the content domain of the lesson.
Self-evaluation provided by person delivering lesson (to be handed in before the following class session). Your reflection should cover the following areas:
1) Overall, how do you feel about how your lesson went? (1 paragraph)
2) What were some of the specific things that worked? (1-2 paragraphs)
3) What were some specific things that did not work? (1-2 paragraphs)
4) If you had the chance to teach this lesson again, what changes would you make to improve?
