Brief Description: The player takes a
journey down the Oregon trail facing all the trials and tribulations faced
by the pioniers. The player must make intelligent decisions concerning

Relevance to objectives: 2- I felt that
it accurately showed the problems faced by pioneers, however I did not
think it provided a way to strategize the journey.
It did bring to life the dangers faced by the pioneers. In doing
so it caused the student to consider the reality of life in the past.

1- The game did not provide use for Social studies skills.

It is an interesting idea and has some funny graphics and ideas.
Likely to be comprehended clearly: 3-I
think it would be comprehended, I didn't feel it gave an in depth analysis
of the pioneers situation.

I thought it had high quality graphics.
Game: Winning dependent on player actions (rather
than chance): 2- I didn't think
there was a strategy required. It was important to pick the right
way to cross a river, but it seemed like niether of your two choices would
get you safely across.

accurate depiction):3- I thought it was fairly

to me how to play the game.

It had an interesting way of presenting the Oregon trail. I think
it might be of some value in a class room.
I did not feel that it emphasized the facts a student must learn during
an American History class.
