Pratt Colloquia

The Pratt Colloquia

The Pratt Colloquia began nearly five years ago and honors the memory of Rebecca Pratt, a student of politics.

The Department of Politics started the colloquia because its faculty believe that while they are teachers at heart, that it is their research endeavors that advance their teaching.

The Pratt Colloquia spotlights the research efforts of faculty in the social sciences and humanities. Most months during the academic term faculty from varied disciplines present their research to students, faculty, and staff.

To the left are the names and brief descriptions of the talks given during last year’s terms. Information on previous year’s talks can be found here.

Faculty are invited to contact me about participating in an upcoming discussion.
